We all watch TV, but sometimes it surprises me how many people watch the same shows!
On Saturday 13.21 million of us sat and watched The X Factor, down about 200,000.
On Sunday a colossal 15.25 million watched Paije be eliminated from the competition. It peaked at 16.42 million!
Over on Strictly, 11.35 million watch the celebrities dance at Blackpool and had a peak with a massive 13.21 million.
On the results show, 11.07 million watched Felicity Kendall be voted out the competition.
Over in Soapland, Coronation Street and Eastenders usually battle it out for the top, while Emmerdale slightly lags behind, followed by Neighbours and Hollyoaks.
On Thursday night, Emmerdale's 1 hour long show was watched by 7.5 million people. While at the same time just 5.8 million watched Eastenders. Brings a smile to my face. Jack Duckworth's funeral on Corrie gained 9.1 million viewers.
My question is, why do we all watch the same thing? I watch all of those shows said above minus Eastenders. Why do the British Public watch the same thing? Why do you watch them? What do you like best?

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Eight (Blackpool!): The Results
So it's time for the results and in the bottom two are:
![]() |
| Felicity and Vincent |
![]() |
| Patsy and Robin |
And the couple eliminated was:
Yes Felicity and Vincent have been booted out. It's sad but it was going to happen sooner or later so let's not waste time mourning. Let's spend time ranting how Ann and Anton are still in this DANCE competition! How? She got 13 points. 13 POINTS. Ridiculous.
What do you think about tonight's results?

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Seven: The Results
Strictly Come Dancing - Week Seven
What A Show! To be fair I did miss the first 2 dances as I was still watching the first Harry Potter as part of my marathon before the beginning of the end and I'm rambling now. I'll stop. Back to Strictly, yes it was a fantastic show and some great dances!
Let's take a look at this week's leader-board:
Scott Maslen & Natalie Lowe – 39
Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev – 38
Matt Baker & Aliona Vilani – 35
Gavin Henson & Katya Virshilas - 33
Patsy Kensit & Robin Windsor – 32
Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan – 32
Felicity Kendal & Vincent Simone – 26
Michelle Williams & Brendan Cole - 24
Ann Widdecombe & Anton Du Beke - 20
Ann Widdecombe & Anton Du Beke - 20
Ssssssscott is back on top! After an amazing performance, Scott Malsen has reclaimed the top position after a disastrous week last week. Kara, who also performed brilliantly took second place. Gavin Henson is the surprise of the week, scoring an impressive 33! Maybe it was his wooing of one particular judge as you'll see later. Ann, again takes bottom place but she's not that far away from Michelle Williams so it's an improvement!
Let's take a look at my best and worst dances:
Best:
(Scott, Kara and Gavin)
For him to come out with this after a terrible week last time, it's amazing. He's such a fantastic dancer and Natalie Lowe is a great teacher! Dance of the series so far!
Kara was been constantly good these past few weeks and this is no different. Brilliant stuff!
And here is the wooing of the judge I mentioned earlier! While, Gavin still made alot of mistakes and his timing was out, this was really good. Very enjoyable. Over-marked but enjoyable.
Worst:
This was awful to watch. So awaked and just not good. You may be danger Felicity.
Seriously, time to jog off Ann. You've been funny but come on. Get out now.
So who will make it through to next week and get to perform at the home of the Ballroom, Blackpool?
Make sure you watch the results show tomorrow at 7:30 on BBC1!

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Five: The Results
So time for the results of this week.
In the bottom two were:
![]() |
| Felicity and Vincent |
![]() |
| Tina and Jared |
And the person how was eliminated was:
Sadly, Tina and Jared were voted out of the competition, which is a real shame and unexpected. It's come to this point where there's someone who is a bad dancer but gives entertainment staying in the competition over good dancers.
What did you make of tonight's elimination?

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Four
This week it's either the Tango or the Charleston. Let's take a look at the leader-board.
Scott Maslen & Natalie Lowe – 35
Matt Baker & Aliona Vilani – 35
Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan – 34
Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev - 32
Tina O'Brien & Jared Murillo – 29
Felicity Kendal & Vincent Simone - 29
Patsy Kensit & Robin Windsor – 28
Michelle Williams & Ian Waite - 27
Jimi Mistry & Flavia Cacace – 27
Gavin Henson & Katya Virshilas 23
Ann Widdecombe & Anton Du Beke - 21
Matt Baker & Aliona Vilani – 35
Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan – 34
Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev - 32
Tina O'Brien & Jared Murillo – 29
Felicity Kendal & Vincent Simone - 29
Patsy Kensit & Robin Windsor – 28
Michelle Williams & Ian Waite - 27
Jimi Mistry & Flavia Cacace – 27
Gavin Henson & Katya Virshilas 23
Ann Widdecombe & Anton Du Beke - 21
Peter Shilton & Erin Boag – 17
As you can see, for the first time since the show started Pamela Stephenson is not at the top of the leader-board. Is this the beginning of the decline? Probably not. She was still amazing though. The usually people are in the usual places. I don't mention them but I think I will this time. Kara Tointon, Tina O'Brien, Felicity Kendla, Patsy Kensit, Michelle Williams and Jimi Mistry are hover around the middle section of the table. None of them have either risen or fell into the bottom during the 4 weeks. They are good, but they dont stand out, although I have to give a special mention to Patsy Kensit. She was amazing tonight. Gavin Henson, Ann Widdecombe and Peter Shilton remain at the bottom. Ann was amazing as ever and Peter Shilton was terrible. Like seriously. Jeez.
So let's take a look at the best and worst dances of the night.
Best:
Scott Maslen and Natalie Lowe dancing the Tango. Wow. Scott has constantly been great and this is just amazing. Well done him.
Matt Baker and Aliona Vilani dancing the Charleston. Again he's been constantly good and this is fantastic.
Pamela Stephenson and James Jordan dancing the Tango. She's just amazing.
There are no words.
Worst:
Worst:
Peter Shilton and Erin Boag dancing the Charleston. Awful.
Special Mention:
Patsy Kensit and Robin Windsor dancing the Charleston. I really liked it, shame the judges didn't so much.
And that's your lot. Tune in tomorrow night at 7:30 to see who leaves the competition.
For interviews and backstage gossip, watch Claudia Winkleman on It Takes Two, weeknights at 6:30 on BBC2.
