HP7 will NOT be released in 3D.

Warner Bros confirmed today that Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 will not be released in 3D as originally planned.

Film makers were unable to convert the entire film into the 3D format, and instead of pushing back the film, they decided to scrap the whole 3D and IMAX versions. The long awaited finale to the Harry Potter films is released global on 19th November which was 5 weeks yesterday. I'm personally not bothered by this. I'm not keen on 3D in the first place, because most of the time it is pointless and the glasses hurt my ears. However, I could not be more excited to see this film. I need to tickets to the midnight showing like right now before I explode.

Part 1 of the finale will be released 19th November 2010. Part 2 which will still be released in 3D and IMAX is released 15th July 2011.
