Metro Radio Live!

So, like I mentioned yesterday, SaMeesh were lucky enough to attend a celebration of pour 15 years of our local radio station, Metro Radio! It was such a great night. The energy of the audience was electric and the acts were amazing (most of them)!

Eastenders to feature Corrie reference!

Eastenders is to pay tribute to it's rival soap Coronation Street on it's 50th Anniversary!

Susan Boyle stops mid-song live on TV!

What an embarrassment! Poor Subo was performing on American talk show The View on Tuesday and was singing O Holy Night. During the performance she got a frog in her throat and stopped performing, thinking that she was recorded. It was in fact being shown live to East Coast of America. Uh-oh. After just stopping mid-song, presenters Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepard quickly stepped in and praised the singer for her voice. 

Uh-oh! Better luck next time Susan!

The 2010-2011 TV Season - The Vampire Diaries Gets A Spinoff?

Screenwriter Kevin Williamson is apparently in the early stages of making a spinoff to the hugely popular CW show The Vampire Diaries.


The show would be a companion series rather than a standalone spinoff and would run concurrently with the main show. It's been described as The X-Files meets Buffy The Vampire Slayer and would follow a group of paranormal researchers! 


Sounds interesting and possible!


Currently there is no script or a deal to make the show. It's in very early stages at the minute.
