The X Factor - Live Shows Week Four: The Results

So it's time for the results and after a good performance from Bon Jovi and the contestants, a frosty performance from Jamiroquai because of his comments about Cheryl and Dannii and a great performance from Rihanna, in the sing off were:

Belle Amie

Katie Waisell

After both acts sang for their survival,

Simon sent home Katie.
Cheryl sent home Belle Amie.
Dannii sent home Bell Amie.
Louis sent home Katie.

Which brought us to our first deadlock of the series and they revert back to the public vote and the act with the lowest votes were:

Yes, Belle Amie were voted out of the competition in their 2nd time in the bottom 2. It was going to happen sooner or later. The sad thing is, they gave a great Judges House performance and then the live shows were just lackluster. Also the fact, girl-bands just don't do well on this show. Bye girls.

What did you think tonight's performances and results?

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Five: The Results

So time for the results of this week.

In the bottom two were:
Felicity and Vincent
Tina and Jared

And the person how was eliminated was:

Sadly, Tina and Jared were voted out of the competition, which is a real shame and unexpected. It's come to this point where there's someone who is a bad dancer but gives entertainment staying in the competition over good dancers.

What did you make of tonight's elimination?

Top of The Pops

  1. (-)Cheryl Cole - Promise This

Wor Chezza has stormed to the top of the charts obviously and scored herself the fastest selling single of 2010 so far! Rihanna scored second place in the chart battle. Meanwhile no other new entries for the top 10 other than Nelly.

Over in the album charts, Kings of Leon have denied Joe McElderry a number 1, which is a shame. He settled for 3rd.

The X Factor - Live Shows Week Four

This will be controversial but Strictly was sooo much better than X Factor tonight. They didn't really embrace the Halloween theme and the majority of the performances weren't all that good!

Let's have a look at the best and worst performances.

Best:

Stunning. I'm really love Cher Lloyd after this performance. Easily the best of the night. I don't understand where the Halloween theme comes into this but for this performance I don't mind. It was brilliant!

Rebecca never really stood out for me, but there's no denying she's an incredible singer. I would like to see her do an upbeat song but this was still fantastic.

I really like One Direction. They've been doing some great songs and I love this version of 'Total Eclipse of The Heart'. Well done lads.

Worst:

I don't like Paige. I don't like his voice.

I must mention other people but I wouldn't put them in the worst section. Mary, Aiden and Belle Amie were a huge let down which is sad.

What did you think of this week's show?

Make sure you watch the results show tonight at 8 and check back here after.

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Five

What a game changer this show was. Some of the people constantly in the middle of the leader-board stepped up and one front runner took a stumble.

Let's take a look at this week's leader-board.

Scott Maslen & Natalie Lowe – 39
Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev – 37
Matt Baker & Aliona Vilani – 34
Patsy Kensit & Robin Windsor – 31
Jimi Mistry & Flavia Cacace – 30
Michelle Williams & Brendan Cole - 29
Tina O'Brien & Jared Murillo – 28
Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan - 27
Felicity Kendal & Vincent Simone - 26
Gavin Henson & Katya Virshilas 26
Ann Widdecombe & Anton Du Beke - 16

So Ssssssssscott has gone and got himself 3 10's and well deserved they were!   Poor Pamela however. That's a hefty stumble she took there. I guess I was wrong last week about this being the beginning of her end maybe? Either way she's not in a good place. Meanwhile, Kara Tointon was on fire! And look at Patsy Kensit 4th from the top! Who knew! A lot of great dances tonight. it appears everyone, well almost everyone has stepped up their game. Also did anyone catch that bust up between Brendan Cole and judge Len Goodman? Draaamaaa!

So let's look at the best and worst dances of the night.

Best:

Scott Malsen is the breakout star of this competition. Three 10's in week five? That's impressive. It must be Natalie Lowe. Remember her last year with Ricky Whittle? Yeah. Amazing stuff from Scott!

Finally! She's here. I thought Kara would do well but her recent dances weren't up to much but this is fantastic. Well done you.

Worst:

It's time to go Ann. I think after this week people who can dance are going to start leaving instead of you and that's when it gets complicated and controversial. You are fun but at the end of the day this is a dance competition.

Did you enjoy the show? Did anyone surprise you? Who was your favourite?

For interviews and backstage gossip, make sure you watch Claudia Winkleman on It Take Two, weeknights on BBC2 at 6:30!

Baby Your A Firework!

Come On, Show Them What Your Worth!

Amazing stuff. I wasn't even that keen on this song when I first heard it but the more you listen to it, the more amazing it gets and this video is also amazing! I love Katy Perry. I still can't believe we are going to see her in April.

What do you think about the video?
