6th April 2011 Round-Up

Were half way through the week! Nearly time for the weekend but let's look at what happened today first though yeah?

1. Britney premiers her new video!

It's fantastic. When the words '21st December 2012' pop on the screen, you think to yourself, 'well this can't be good' but it turns out it's pretty darn good! Better than 'Hold It Against Me' I reckon. She seems alot more comfortable to me.  What do you think? Has Britney still go it? Or did that spark go when her hair did?

2. GaGaVision No. 41.

Are you excited for Judas? Me either.

3. What the hell man?!

Warner Bros and MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) have ordered that The Hangover Part II's  trailer should be removed from theatres across America! While they haven't commented why they've decided to do that, the trailer does contain some touchy subjects such as the use of the words 'gay boy', 'bitches' and 'whores' and shows Zach Galifianakis's character Alan making a monkey pretend to wank and elderly Thai man, while saying "When a monkey nibbles on a weenus, it's funny in any language.' I could understand them pulling it if it were on TV, but the trailer was being showed infront of Jake Gyllenhaal's new film Source Code, which will have a mature audience. Doesn't really seem to make sense to me. Check out the trailer for yourselves and see what you think of it.

The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) said cinemas could only show the teaser trailer, not the full length. Crazy man.

4. My beloved Lauren Conrad has new books on the way!

I have loved L.C since the beginning so I'll report anything about her. This is great news if your a fan of her books which I am. She's just signed a new 3 book deal with Harper Collins. The new trilogy will be titled The Fame Game and will focus on Maddison Parker, a character from her L.A Candy books as she inches closer to the fame she's always dreamed of. I have yet to read the 3rd book in the original series, but I highly recommend them for anyone! Very enjoyable. Go L.C! Can't wait to read them!

BIG BROTHER IS COMING BACK!

And here's all the details!

So, as you know, Channel 4 dropped Big Brother last year and the show ended with Series 11 and a special series which saw Brian Dowling crowned The Ultimate Housemate. There were plenty of tears and if you want to re-live it, just search for Ultimate Big Brother right here on the blog.

There were plenty of rumor and speculation that other channels might pick it up and to be quite honest I didn't think it would ever happen, but now I've been proven wrong, and Channel 5 have picked up the show in a 2 year deal with creators Endemol.

An 'all star' celebrity series will run for 4 weeks this coming August! Producers have set their sights on the likes of Amy Childs, former Big Brother stars and an odd choice of Charlie Sheen.

After that, a normal series will start in September with members of the public going into the house.

Another celebrity series will run in January followed by another normal series in the Summer, back to how Channel 4 did it.

It's also rumoured that the 24/7 live feed will return after Channel 4 cut it last year to save costs.

A presenter for the show has not been announced yet, but Davina McCall has ruled herself out. Favourites to get the job include Emma Willis who presented Big Brother's Little Brother last year, Ultimate Housemate Brian Dowling and Vanessa Feltz.

It is unknown if the voice of Big Brother, Marcus Bentley will return to tell us what day it is and what the time is.

It's also been rumoured  that the prize fund will increased from £100,000 to £500,000! Wow.

So what do you BB fans think then? Will you watch it? Who do you want to present it? Will it be the same? Let me know!
