Strictly Come Dancing - Brendan Cole Takes Leave For a Week

Professional Dancer and Michelle William's partner in the current series of Strictly Come Dancing, Brendan Cole will take a leave of absence from the show due the death of his father, it's been reported.

The dancer found out about his father's death just hours before he was supposed to perform on the show. His father had been fighting Leukemia for 10 years and lost his battle. Brendan has flown back to New Zealand with his wife and brother.

Michelle Williams will be partnered with Ian Waite until Brendan returns.

Condolences to Brendan and his family.

Justin Bieber under Investigation for Assault?

Why am I secretly laughing at this?

Teen Sensation, Justin Bieber is apparently under investigation for assault. Gossip Cop has said that Justin hit a 12 year-old boy during a game of laser tag (Quasar Laser to us Geordie's) in Canada.

The authorities did confirm a 12 year-old boy was assaulted, but did not name Bieber as a suspect.

Justin was at the complex playing with friends, and found him self the target due to his celebrity status. After the 12 year-old complained, Bieber was thrown out of the complex.

A representative for Justin has claimed the allegations are "completely untrue".

Did Bieber loose his cool and lash out?

(BTW: The image is from his upcoming guest appearance in CSI. He hasn't actually been arrested, I should point this out.)

The X Factor - Live Shows Week Two: The Results

OhMyGod! First of all, Katy Perry (who I got a ticket for yesterday) was amazing as always. Wow. Also Diana Vickers was good too. (I'm going to see her too!)

Now to the serious bits. In the bottom 3 were:

Belle Amie
Storm Lee
Diva Fever

From the public vote, Storm Lee was eliminated and I'm really pleased. He was has-been and he was not good at all. I'm glad he went.

Time for the final showdown and both are Simon's acts. Bad times for him.

Louis sent home Diva Fever!
Dannii sent home Diva Fever!
Cheryl sent home Diva Fever!

With the unanimous vote, Diva Fever were the second act of the night to be eliminated and again. thank god! I really didn't like them. A bit too much for my liking. I bet Simon is glad he didn't have to vote between his two acts. I'm so happy Belle Amie were saved!

What did you think of tonight's results? Are you happy or upset with the people that went? Let us know down below!

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Three: The Results

I'm running behind tonight so I'm jumping straight into it.

In the bottom two were:

Michelle and Brendan

Paul and Ola

And the end result was:

Finally Paul Daniels has been booted out of the competition. He wasn't very good was he? The right person left tonight. Although Michelle Williams has been disappointing, I still think there's something there!

Also, Peter Andre was rubbish. Stop trying.

What did you think of the results?

Top of The Pops

17/10/10 - 24/10/10

  1. (1)Cee Lo Green - F**k You
  2. (4)Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are
  3. (-)Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand
  4. (5)Swedish House Mafia - Miami 2 Ibiza (featuring Tinie Tempah)
  5. (3)Tinie Tempah - Written in the Stars (featuring Eric Turner)
  6. (-)Joe McElderry - Ambitions
  7. (2)Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow - Shame
  8. (6)Labrinth - Let The Sun Shine
  9. (22)Mike Posner - Cooler Than Me
  10. (18)Usher - DJ Got Us Fallin In Love (featuring Pitbull)

No change to Number 1, but Joe McElderry disappointedly made it to 6. I thought it would go higher! Not much change otherwise other than an re-entry for Usher.

What do you think? Did Joe deserve better?

The X Factor - Live Shows Week Two

Here we go with the second X Factor Live Show and after all the drama of last week, will we get the same this time?

Another show with some great performances and some not so great.

Let's look at my top 3 performances.

Number 1 for me has to be Mary!

Mary is a true star. She's given an excellent performance each time and I can only imagine what will happen if she stays in the competition till the end. I would like to see her taken out of her comfort zone and given maybe a dance number or even a more upbeat song. Standing still and singing in an old school microphone won't work every week unfortunately.

Number 2 is Matt!

Whenever I talk to somebody about The X Factor, Matt always comes up as someone's favourite. He hasn't really been on my radar until now. I really loved his performance and I'm not a big fan. I can see him going all the way. Again though, the same as Mary, a dance number might help?

Finally, WAGNER!!

It's funny how I put him in my worst list last week. I really like Wagner now. Even though I was on my way to getting drunk, while watching his performance , I enjoyed it. He's a laugh. He's not a good singer but he's entertainment and that is part of The X Factor. Toasting to WAGNER!!!

Let's look at my not so good performances:

I think the only one was Diva Fever.

I just can't get away with these two. They make me cringe so much, and they are the act that I least look forward to every week. In fact I dread it. I hope they leave soon.

I have to mention a few others. Belle Amie were amazing. So much better than last week thank god! I really like them. Katie Waissel was also much better this week than last. While I still love him, Aiden Grimshaw disappointed.

What did you think of Week 2? Leave your comments below! Make sure you watch the results show tonight at 8 on ITV1! And check back here later for my Results Blog.

Strictly Come Dancing - Week Three

If I'm honest, I did not really pay attention during the whole show. In fact I missed some of it driving to my cousins house. But I saw all the dances and it was a good show.

Let's crack on with the scores!

Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan – 35
Scott Maslen & Natalie Lowe – 34
Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev – 31
Matt Baker & Aliona Vilani – 31
Felicity Kendal & Vincent Simone – 29
Peter Shilton & Erin Boag – 26
Jimi Mistry & Flavia Cacace - 25
Patsy Kensit & Robin Windsor - 24
Michelle Williams & Brendan Cole - 24
Gavin Henson & Katya Virshilas 22
Ann Widdecombe & Anton Du Beke - 18
Paul Daniels & Ola Jordan – 16

I can't believe Pamela and James nearly got a Perfect 40 in Week 3. That's amazing. They are definitely the front runners and rightly so. She's so beautiful and elegant and amazing. And I just found out today she's 60? I didn't believe it! Even more amazing.

I also love how Ann Widdecombe is above Paul Daniels in the leader-board. Amazing stuff!

Here's the best dances:

And the Worst Dance:

And that's your lot. What did you think of week 3? Who's in danger of leaving? Leave your thoughts below and don't forget to watch the results show tonight at 7:30 on BCC1 and check back here also.

And if you want to see interviews and get backstage gossip, make sure you watch Claudia Winkleman on It Takes Two, weeknights at 6:30 on BBC2! It's always a treat.
