The X Factor - Celebrity Duets Confirmed for Final

The X Factor finalists have cofirmed who they are dueting with in the final over the weekend.

Matt Cardle will be singing with Rihanna.
Rebecca Ferguson will be singing with Christina Aguleria.
Cher Lloyd will be singing with will.i.am.
One Direction will be snging with Robbie Williams.

That's one hell of a lineup. I don't really get Matt and Rihanna being put together. Doesn't really work in my head. Rebecca and Chrtistina will be amazingly beautiful. I can just see it now. Cher and will.i.am was a given. Fianlly Robbie Williams seems an odd choice for One Direction too. They might as well just pick Liam, Harry and Zayn to sing with him and leave the other two at home.

This year's X Factor final will be bigger than ever. 2 2 hours shows will take place on Saturday and Sunday with several special performances including the winner's song. It was also confirmed today by Simon Cowell that each act has recored a different winner's single to suit them. Obviously. You have Cher Lloyd in the compeition. You can't have her singing some happy balland about the struggle she's been on. That's not what she's about!

The final airs at 7PM on Saturday and 7:30PM on Sunday.

The X Factor - 7 Acts, 14 songs

Creative director Brian Friedman has revealed that next week each act will sing 2 songs in next weeks show.

While on The Xtra Factor, presenter Konnie Huq pressured him into revealing the theme for next week and he responded with "7 acts, 14 songs"

It is said each act will sing a ballad and an uptempo song. Personally I think this is bit is great. It'll be great to see Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle sing an uptempo song!

Next week's show starts at 7:45PM and lasts nearly 2 hours. In the results show The Wanted, Justin Bieber and Nicole Scherzinger have been confirmed as performers.

The X Factor - Live Shows Week Seven

It was Beatles week on The X Factor and yet again it was a boring show except the fight between Cheryl and Simon over "stair-gate" as Dermot O'Leary embarrassingly called it and Cheryl and Wagner over Wagner's comments about her being "just a lucky girl from a council estate". Draaamaaa!

Anyway let's have a deeks at the performances:

Best:

Matt Cardle. Every song he sings, he makes beautiful. I don't know how he does it. I want him to win.

Hello Mary! It's been a while since you were here but your back! And you were brilliant. Keep it up!

Worst:

Oh my god. Get off you big creep. That is all I have to say on the matter.

So what did you think of The X Factor? I think were at the stage, who do you want win?

Make sure you watch the results show tonight and check back here for my thoughts afterwards!

The X Factor - Live Shows Week Six

As this goes on, I get less and less excited. Nothing good or out of the ordinary happens. Nothing is spontaneous. It's all rehearsed and planned and well fake? I think I may just be getting bored of it, yet I still watch it without fail! Weird.

Moving on, it was Elton John week... Fantastic... Let's just look at the performances.

Best:

Matt is amazing! FACT.

Rebecca is also amazing. FACT.

One Direction are also very very good!

Let's see who was bad!

Jog on, Paije. You are exactly like Treyc. Your there but nobody remembers you or even likes you that much, and look what happened to her last week. Do one!

I haven't minded Katie for this whole competition, but she's been in the bottom 2, 3 times and this was pretty bad I thought. Maybe it's time to go?

There are no words.

So what did you think of X Factor's Elton John week?

Make sure you watch the results show at 7:45pm with performances from Take That, JLS and Westlife!

The X Factor - Live Shows Week Five

Was it me, or was this episode a lackluster? The majority of the contestants weren't great. Good but not great. Another thing, the themes. How awful are they this series. For one they are very broad and and even with that the judges do not stick to them and find silly ways of making them okay. Total Eclipse of the Heart is a halloween song because it was the word Eclipse in it? Yeah, okay Simon Cowell.

Okay so moving on tonight's performances. There was only 2 fantastic performances. The rest were either alright or rubbish. Let's have a look shall we?

Best:

There are no words to describe this other than beautiful. He has a very big chance of winning this and he could do it too.

She's stunning. I wasn't keen at the start of the competition but she's such a star and sings every song perfectly and beautifully. Another big contender to win this.

Worst:

It wasn't bad, I just don't really like her. And I'm pretty sure plenty of other people don't either. She's like John Adeleye. She's there but nobody remembers he is. I hope she leaves soon.

Great song, great staging, but unfortunately Paije is singing it and I don't like him. He's like John too. Do you remember him? Do you talk about him with your friends? No is your answer, so he should leave too. And with the rumors of a double elimination this weekend, these two should go! Along with...

... this! Ohmydays. He's like a scary perv. I couldn't even watch this. That poor girl must be traumatized and need therapy after this, or just a very long shower. Get him out! And Louis Walsh, please call him by is name. It's very rude.

And the rest were alright, but not great.

What did you think?

Make sure you watch the results show tonight where Kylie Minouge is performing!!

The X Factor - Live Shows Week Two

Here we go with the second X Factor Live Show and after all the drama of last week, will we get the same this time?

Another show with some great performances and some not so great.

Let's look at my top 3 performances.

Number 1 for me has to be Mary!

Mary is a true star. She's given an excellent performance each time and I can only imagine what will happen if she stays in the competition till the end. I would like to see her taken out of her comfort zone and given maybe a dance number or even a more upbeat song. Standing still and singing in an old school microphone won't work every week unfortunately.

Number 2 is Matt!

Whenever I talk to somebody about The X Factor, Matt always comes up as someone's favourite. He hasn't really been on my radar until now. I really loved his performance and I'm not a big fan. I can see him going all the way. Again though, the same as Mary, a dance number might help?

Finally, WAGNER!!

It's funny how I put him in my worst list last week. I really like Wagner now. Even though I was on my way to getting drunk, while watching his performance , I enjoyed it. He's a laugh. He's not a good singer but he's entertainment and that is part of The X Factor. Toasting to WAGNER!!!

Let's look at my not so good performances:

I think the only one was Diva Fever.

I just can't get away with these two. They make me cringe so much, and they are the act that I least look forward to every week. In fact I dread it. I hope they leave soon.

I have to mention a few others. Belle Amie were amazing. So much better than last week thank god! I really like them. Katie Waissel was also much better this week than last. While I still love him, Aiden Grimshaw disappointed.

What did you think of Week 2? Leave your comments below! Make sure you watch the results show tonight at 8 on ITV1! And check back here later for my Results Blog.

When you read this, think that the X Factor Voiceover man is saying it from..... now!

Dannii Minouge and the Boys, Aiden Grimshaw, Nicolo Festa and Matt Cardle.

Cheryl Cole and the Girls, Cher Lloyd, Katie Waissel and Rebecca Ferguson.

Louis Walsh and the Over 28's, Storm Lee, John Adeleye and Mary Byrne.

Simon Cowell and and the Groups

Belle Amie

1 Direction

and FYD

So there's our 12 finalists. BUT, wait there's more. A Big Twist! We previously mentioned that there would be a big twist in the live show on October 9th. It's rumored that it will be a 'wild-card' where the mentor of each category brings back someone they said no to at judges houses to join the competition but not confirmed.

So what do think of the judges choices? Some were controversial and some were a given. Who's your favourite? Who will win? Let us know!
