Long running animated comedy, The Simpsons has been renewed for it's 23rd season by FOX.
The news means that the show will be on screens till at least 2012 and it will reach it's 500th episode millstone. It will also become the 3rd longest running prime-time series in the history of television. It's come along way from being a short on The Tracey Ullman Show back in 1987!
I used to watch The Simpsons all the time, but it gets tiring after a while. I loved the movie but I don't watch the show anymore, unless there's nothing else on and it happens to be on. I can't believe it's still going though. It's a great achievement.

Of course I still watch it; it’s one of my favorite shows on TV right now! Being on TV for over twenty years is quite an achievement. I am a customer and employee of DISH Network and I can use my iPhone to watch The Simpsons anywhere I have a 3G connection. I can do this using Sling Technology and I can’t recommend the TV Everywhere feature enough to anyone with a busy lifestyle.
