After the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in July, Warner Bros. will release all 8 films in 3-D for a limited time only.
Part 2 of the Deathly Hallows is the only Harry Potter film to be released in 3-D currently. All other films in the series were released in 2-D so seeing all 8 films in 3-D will be a great experience for movie goers and fans of the franchise.
Personally, I don't see the point in 3-D. Yes, sometimes (being the key word here) it can look great and stuff, but it doesn't add to the film and it's more expensive. I refuse to go see the next HP in 3-D. And I doubt I shall be venturing to see all 8 in 3-D, that's if they do this in the UK.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is currently sitting at the top of the UK Box Office, after breaking multiple records including the biggest release since Quantum of Solace.
What do you think about this? The franchise is over, so is this one last mad-dash for money? Or do they actually want fans to get the best experience from our beloved wizard and crew?
