Some new Glee details

It's been a while since we had some Glee news and since Season two premiers in the UK tonight (E4 9PM) I thought I'd give you some deets!


I should warn you that spoilers for UK viewers or anyone else who hasn't seen any of Season Two follow so if you don't want to be spoiled, I suggest you go look at some other posts! 

Women like The Schuster!

Creator Ryan Murphy has announced that Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth will reprise their roles in Season Two. Kristin who has played April Rhodes in a number of episodes will return for a multi-episode arc towards the end of the season. I wish they'd just make her a regular already! She is amazing and Murphy is clearly dying to! Gwyneth Paltrow who played Hollie Holiday in a recent episode will also be returning to the show. Her character will return for two episodes. I'm excited to see the episode she first appears in. 

Murphy has also announced plans to use Lady GaGa's new song 'Born This Way' despite it not being released yet! He said that he heard the song and received permission to use it in the show! The song will be used in an episode in either March or April, and Max Adler who plays closeted bully Karofsky. If you choose to ignore my warning of spoilers then yeah, you know that bully that constantly has a go at Kurt with the other footballer. He's gay. Did not see that one coming. Should be interesting to watch!














Justin Bieber is NOT I repeat NOT getting a tribute episode! As if they would do that. TVLine.com wrongly reported that the show was having a Justin Bieber centric episode which caused Twitter to explode and fans of the show were angry! Murphy explained that a Bieber song will appear in episode 13 called 'Comeback' when Sam sings to win back Quinn. He said it is a small scene and not centric to the episode. Tribute episodes are saved for artists with a larger catalog. Go and tell some 'Beliebers' that it ain't happening!
















The Super Bowl! If you don't live in America and your not into football (I am neither yet I know what it is purely down to TV) then you'll be wondering what it is. Who cares? Glee has an episode airing after it and it's set to be ratings smash! So big, that the cast are attempting to do Michael Jackson's legendary 'Thriller'! And some pictures of filming were posted today! 

Amazing. In other Super Bowl episode news, Charice is apparently coming back and singing the Black Eyed Peas 'Meet Me Halfway' with the rest of Vocal Adrenaline. Exciting.

Remember Glee starts again tonight in the UK, E4 at 9PM.
