7th April 2011 Round-Up

1. FX announces a new show!

FX has announced that it will air Falling Skies in the UK. The show is produced by Steven Spielberg and follows a group of survivors after an alien attack! Here's a preview! It looks rather good I think.

Begins sometime during the Summer I believe! Look out for it.

2. Lady GaGa wants to be in Modern Family.

If you don't know what Modern Family is, or if you haven't seen it, then you haven't lived clearly because it's one of the funniest TV shows going at the minute, and the world's biggest pop star wants a cameo! Star of the show Jesse Tyler Ferguson revealed that GaGa contacted the producers and asked for a cameo or some way to get involved with the show. However, Ferguson said that he did not believe it could happen as he explained it wouldn't really fit in with the show for Lady GaGa to just pop up.

That said though, there is a Lady GaGa storyline coming up, where Jesse's character Mitchell has tickets to see her on concert, but his partner Cameron is ill and can't go, so Mitchell knocks him out with drugs and goes to the concert anyway! Let's be honest, who wouldn't do that? I think it might be cool if she does make an appearance during that episode. It could fit in really well actually and it certainly help in the ratings! Btw Modern Family airs at 8:30PM on Sky1 on Fridays!

3. Uh oh!

Lil Wayne has been forced to cancel several shows in the UK according to reports! Not because of lack of ticket sales or anything like that, no, our beloved government (I am being sarcastic here) do not want him in our country! LOL. He was denied a visa to enter the UK, for those shows and a promotion tour for his upcoming album because of his recent stint in jail for gun possession. Naughty Naughty! Are we really bothered? I only know one person who actually does like Lil Wayne.

4. We've got our own show's bitches!

It's been rumoured for some time now but now MTV have officially announced that Jersey Shore cast members DJ Pauly D and Snooki and JWoww have been given their own spin-off reality shows!

Cameras will follow DJ Pauly D and his friends around while on a tour of the country Djing in various clubs. Cameras will also follow Snooki and JWoww living in a house together away from the shore! Both series have been given 12 episode orders and will air in 2012! Does this mean the end of Jersey Shore though? Time will tell. I hope not though!

TOWIE 6th April 2011

WARNING! This programmes contains flash cars, big watches and Harry in a leotard. The tan you see might be fake, but the people are all real although some of what they do has been set up purely for your entertainment.

Previously:
  • Lydia had an argument with Arg because she thinks he doesn't love her anymore. :(
  • Joey Essex is still pining after Lucy.
  • Big drama between Kirk and Lauren Pope!
Cue Titles!

What happened:
  • Joey Essex is incredibly vain. That is all. Reem is my new favourite word.
  • Lauren Pope and Maria discuss last night events, both looking like they would in the morning. WHO WANTS TO SEE THAT?
  • Lucy tells Sam what happens last night! Giggles all round. Lesbianism is suggested. I agree.
  • Joey Essex cannot take his eyes of the mirror. Amazing.
  • Mark and 'Larg' play golf. My days.
  • Lydia and Lauren talk about 'Larg'.
  • IT'S HARRY'S BIRTHDAY! Harry and Amy check out a venue for his party. Bitch knows what he wants
  • Ahh one of those famous Essex phone calls between 'Larg' and Lydia. WHERE'S MR DARCY?
  • Mark and Lauren are looking for a dog. This can only end in disaster.
  • Kirk arrives in his pimp car and talks to Lauren Pope. Knob cheese.
  • Mark and Lauren annoy they hell out of me but they've chosen the cutest dog ever!
  • Lauren Pope is stupid if she gets back with Kirk and I will start not to like her.
  • Amy, Sam and Harry are talking about his party! I can't believe he's only 17!
  • Lauren Pope and Maria talk about Kirk. Boring me now.
  • Oh. My. Days, Harry is dressed as Lady GaGa. Brilliant. On to the party!
  • So here's the crack. It's Harry's birthday and there's obviously a fancy dress theme! Harry is Lady GaGa, Jess is Marilyn Monroe, Lydia is Legally Blonde, Arg is Fred Flinstone, Mark and Lauren are John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John from Grease, Lucy is Betty Boop, Amy is Jessica Rabbit, Gemma is a playboy bunny (SKANK), Sam is Ursula Andress (what is that?), Billie is Wonder Woman, Lauren Pope is Pamela Anderson from Baywatch, Kirk is Superman, Maira is Geri Halliwell, Joey Essex is Beach Ken, Chloe is Lara Croft and last but definitely not least NANNY PAT IS THE QUEEN!!
  • Everyone is here, let the party commence!
  • Lydia and Mark talk about the Arg situation.
  • Joey Essex talks to  Lucy! Tells her she's missed the boat, after she tells him she likes him! Amazing.
  • Harry performs a Lady GaGa dance. Nice.
  • Lydia and Arg get back together. Yay!
  • Happy Birthday Harry!!
  • Kirk and Maria have an awkward conversation and a fight. Lovely.
  • Ohmylordy. STEAMY KISS BETWEEN SAM AND JOEY ESSEX! (while Mark watches) :O
That's your lot. See you next Sunday!

6th April 2011 Round-Up

Were half way through the week! Nearly time for the weekend but let's look at what happened today first though yeah?

1. Britney premiers her new video!

It's fantastic. When the words '21st December 2012' pop on the screen, you think to yourself, 'well this can't be good' but it turns out it's pretty darn good! Better than 'Hold It Against Me' I reckon. She seems alot more comfortable to me.  What do you think? Has Britney still go it? Or did that spark go when her hair did?

2. GaGaVision No. 41.

Are you excited for Judas? Me either.

3. What the hell man?!

Warner Bros and MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) have ordered that The Hangover Part II's  trailer should be removed from theatres across America! While they haven't commented why they've decided to do that, the trailer does contain some touchy subjects such as the use of the words 'gay boy', 'bitches' and 'whores' and shows Zach Galifianakis's character Alan making a monkey pretend to wank and elderly Thai man, while saying "When a monkey nibbles on a weenus, it's funny in any language.' I could understand them pulling it if it were on TV, but the trailer was being showed infront of Jake Gyllenhaal's new film Source Code, which will have a mature audience. Doesn't really seem to make sense to me. Check out the trailer for yourselves and see what you think of it.

The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) said cinemas could only show the teaser trailer, not the full length. Crazy man.

4. My beloved Lauren Conrad has new books on the way!

I have loved L.C since the beginning so I'll report anything about her. This is great news if your a fan of her books which I am. She's just signed a new 3 book deal with Harper Collins. The new trilogy will be titled The Fame Game and will focus on Maddison Parker, a character from her L.A Candy books as she inches closer to the fame she's always dreamed of. I have yet to read the 3rd book in the original series, but I highly recommend them for anyone! Very enjoyable. Go L.C! Can't wait to read them!

BIG BROTHER IS COMING BACK!

And here's all the details!

So, as you know, Channel 4 dropped Big Brother last year and the show ended with Series 11 and a special series which saw Brian Dowling crowned The Ultimate Housemate. There were plenty of tears and if you want to re-live it, just search for Ultimate Big Brother right here on the blog.

There were plenty of rumor and speculation that other channels might pick it up and to be quite honest I didn't think it would ever happen, but now I've been proven wrong, and Channel 5 have picked up the show in a 2 year deal with creators Endemol.

An 'all star' celebrity series will run for 4 weeks this coming August! Producers have set their sights on the likes of Amy Childs, former Big Brother stars and an odd choice of Charlie Sheen.

After that, a normal series will start in September with members of the public going into the house.

Another celebrity series will run in January followed by another normal series in the Summer, back to how Channel 4 did it.

It's also rumoured that the 24/7 live feed will return after Channel 4 cut it last year to save costs.

A presenter for the show has not been announced yet, but Davina McCall has ruled herself out. Favourites to get the job include Emma Willis who presented Big Brother's Little Brother last year, Ultimate Housemate Brian Dowling and Vanessa Feltz.

It is unknown if the voice of Big Brother, Marcus Bentley will return to tell us what day it is and what the time is.

It's also been rumoured  that the prize fund will increased from £100,000 to £500,000! Wow.

So what do you BB fans think then? Will you watch it? Who do you want to present it? Will it be the same? Let me know!

5th April 2011 Round-Up

It's Tuesday. Time for a Round-Up I reckon.

1. Britney's new video is coming.

Looks promising! Check back tomorrow for the full video!

2. Taylor Momsen isn't heading back to the Upper East Side.

At least for a while. Yes I am currently jumping for joy, as skanky biatch Taylor Momsen has revealed that she will not return to Gossip Girl anytime soon! Momsen, who plays Jenny Humpfry in the show, was written out at the beginning of Season 4 due to creative reasons. She made one last appearance on the show before leaving again. She won't be returning at any point for the rest of the season and possibly Season 5 if the show is renewed which it probably will. Taylor who hugely controversial is currently touring with her band The Pretty Reckless. May you never return to GG! Bitch.

3. Torchwood is on it's way back!

Exciting times! Expect to see this sometime in July on BBC One!

4. It's Official!

Big Brother is alive! And it's moving to Channel 5! While I mentioned this yesterday it was all just rumor but now we have actual confirmation that Channel 5 have indeed picked up the Big Brother format and it will be returning to our screens THIS SUMMER! Yeah, your reading right! All the details will be released tomorrow so expect to see a full post dedicated to that! SO HAPPY. Here, you might as well watch this amazing video remembering the last 11 series of Big Brother.

4th April 2011 Round-Up

So what happened on this fine Monday? Glad you asked really, here's your round-up for today!

1. Wor Cheryl has been confirmed for US X Factor?

Apparently so. Confirmed judge L.A Reid (still no idea who he is) was quoted saying that he had no idea who the 4th judge was but he hoped they have a good connection with himself, Simon and Cheryl. Cat out the bag much? Let's ask this question though. Should Cheryl judge the American version of X Factor? I mean really. In my opinion, I don't think she should. First of all if she did, it would dampen my hopes of Girls Aloud getting back together at some point before 2012. Second of all, I'm not sure if the America population know who you are? And will they have the same reaction to you as we did, I highly doubt it. Just stick to the UK version Cheryl man. American readers! This question goes to you! Do you know who Cheryl Cole is? (don't use google)

2. The Vampire Diaries is back!

After another small break, one of my favourite TV Shows is back for it's final 6 episodes of the season and by the looks of things, their gonna be deadly! VD returns to UK screens on 12th April on ITV2! Exciting!

3. Kedollarsignha is touring the UK!

I love that skank but I hate her because she's not coming to where I live. Ke$ha has announced she will be touring the UK for the first time headlining. There's only a few dates which is quite shocking considering how big and well known she is. Confused. Anyway, here's the dates and where she's playing:
  • June 23 & 24 -Glastonbury Festival
  • July 3 - Birmingham Academy
  • July 9 - T in the Park Festival
  • July 11- Manchester Apollo
  • July 13 - London HMV Hammersmith Apollo
If your lucky enough to live near those places or happen to be going to those festivals, I have a strong dislike towards you, unless you take me with you of course. Then I'll be your best friend forever :)

4. Adele is a record breaker!

She's really going places isn't she? And don't we all know it. Adele has broke yet another record with her massive album 21. On Sunday it charted again at the top spot becoming the first album in 25 years to hold onto Number 1 for 10 consecutive weeks. Her debut album also sits on number 2 and is the second best selling album of 2011 so far, after of course 21. Impressive isn't even the word to describe her success.

5. Fancy some Glee news?

Well here's some amazing news. You might already know that a future episode (18 to be exact) will feature around Lady GaGa's smash song 'Born This Way'. Apparently the episode has so much stuff going on, it's been extended to 90 minutes! Brilliant. Executive producer Ian Brennan confirmed the extension after it was rumoured last week. He said that he is very excited because they have to cut down most episodes and throw away alot of good stuff, and now with this episode they get more screen time. I bet it's going to be amazing!

Yeah so I went to see Katy Perry

AND IT WAS AMAZING!

Having got the tickets sometime last year, I've definitely been looking forward to this and I'm so happy it's finally happened!

She was fantastic! Like genuinely great. It had a great storyline to it, her vocals were perfect, the dance routines, the costumes, everything! I liked how she actually talked to us and it didn't sound scripted and she involved the auidence and even pulled some on stage! Gutted I wasn't chosen to go up but nevermind! I highly recommend you go see her if you ever get the chance! Easily one of the best nights I've had, even if I was crippled afterwards and had to limp home.

Here's some photos!

Yeah, we had a poster. Got told to put it down though :/

Yeah she's wearing a catsuit. NOM

TOWIE - 3rd April 2011

Warning! This programme contains flash cars, big watches and Amy Childs in a teeny weeny bikini. The tans you see might be fake, but the people are all real, although some of what they do has been set up purely for your entertainment.

So, believe it or not were on to episode 5 already! Crazy times!

Previously:
  • Amy chose Paloma has her new assistant in the beauty salon and gave her a make over. She looks dreadful.
  • Kirk broke up with Lauren Pope. It was sad times.
  • Lydia's crazy mam picked on poor Arg.
  • Joey Essex tried it on with Lucy yet again, and failed miserably yet again.
  • Chloe revealed she has a daughter. I had to pick my jaw of the floor.
  • Arg continues to battle his weight issues.
  • Lauren cooked Mark's family a meal and then Mark left to create drama. Wonderful.
Cue titles.

Here's what happened:
  • Amy tries on some clothes in Minnies (Sam and Billie's shop) and we learn a new phrase. 'Skank out'. I hope it catches on.
  • Kirk's pervy dad bought him a car. More reason to dislike them.
  • Lauren has coffee with her sister Nicola and they talk about shit. I'm beginning to bore myself!
  • Back to Amy and her huge boobs which cause problems when trying clothes on. You can't help but laugh really.
  • Lauren Pope moans to Maria about Kirk.
  • Ew. It's Gemma. or Pointless Gemma as I like to call her because she is in fact pointless and vile. Kirk shows up in his new car like a pimp or something and talks to Amy and PG while they stand in the rain. He's lovely. MORE reason to dislike him.
  • Arg tries on some of Mark's clothes as he sits their randomly shirtless and insults him. SUCH A GOOD FRIEND.
  • Lydia's making some sort of photo album full of her and Arg while her scary mam irons. The Life <3
  • Time to party bitches! Mark reckons he's in love with Lauren. Nar. He's a knob basically and I'm gonna stop listening to what he says. AND THE A BOMBSHELL DROPS. Mark says Arg has been cheating on Lydia? :o
  • Amy tells Kirk he needs to go into a black room and meditate. Brilliant.
  • Chloe and Joey Essex ask each other what various body parts are saying about them. It's all very odd. Also he reckons he's gonna try his luck with Lucy again. Chloe doesn't look optimistic.
  • Speaking of, Kirk tries it on with Lucy and apparently succeeds because he's a man not a boy like Joey. No Lucy, he's a knob jockey, don't say I didn't warn you!
  • Maria gets a massage from Paloma while Amy sits and chats about boobs and this new fake tan which you inject and it turns you orange. How horrifying. Oh and how Lauren Pope is after the break-up.
  • Arg tells Lydia he and his dad have bought a derelict house for them to move into. Arg doesn't know what derelict means. Suddenly out of nowhere they have a huge argument because Lydia feels Arg doesn't love her anymore. FEEL THE NEED TO HUG LYDIA!
  • Lauren Pope and Maria are out for drinks. UH OH! Who is this walking through the door? It's only bloody Kirk on a date with Lucy!
  • Nanny Pat is showing Mark her wedding photos and they talk about the differences between weddings then and now. Nanny Pat <3
  • Back to where the drama is, Kirk tries to talk to Lauren Pope in private but she doesn't want to. She tells him to call the date off and then she'll talk to him. Poor Lucy. Maria starts having a go at him. He calls her an extra. BRILLIANT. Breaking the 4th wall or what! Kirk walks off and then they start having a go at poor Lucy! Maria is totally out of order calling her a slag! Totally unfair! Sad times. Kirk comes back and constantly says he can't do this. GO AWAY and leave poor Lauren Pope alone. Uuugh.
And that's your lot. Eventful right? What did you guys think? Who's excited for wednesday?

Sunday, 3 April 2011

3rd April 2011 Round-Up

Sunday is normally a slow news day but let's have a gander at what happened then.

1. BIG BROTHER IS BACK!

There's been plenty of rumor and speculation that Channel Five had picked up the Big Brother format after Channel 4 sadly dropped it last year, and today it's been reported that Big Brother WILL return this summer! The Daily Star (a very respectable newspaper) has claimed Channel Five which is currently going through a reinvention phase has signed a 5 year deal with BB creators Endemol. Appaz the show will return for a 4 week celebrity series in August, followed by a regular series in September.

Seems kinda odd and quick to me, but I love Big Brother. Whether it'll be the same or as good as it once was is another thing. There won't be any Davina McCall as host because she's said her goodbyes and left the house. So who will host the show? Will there still be a Geordie narrator? Who will be the celebrity contestants? Will it be just as good? Hmms. Let's hope so. I'll give it a year before I decide whether to apply to go on it ;)

2. Charlie Sheen is a joke.

I don't know if you've heard of this guy called Charlie Sheen? There was the whole drama over him being crazy and fired from this show he's in called Two and a Half Men. It wasn't reported that much so I don't blame you for not knowing about it. ANYWAY he went on, what, some sort of comedy tour? is that what it is? Yeah we'll go with that. A comedy tour, which sold out in minutes. He debuted last night in the good city of Detroit and the audience was less than pleased and booed him of the stage after 15 minutes. That's what I like to call awkward. Sheen didn't return to the stage after the intermission.

3. Hello! New album from Beyonce in June?

I love me some Beyonce like. What a woman! After the amazement of her last album, could she do any better? Probably. According to reports, Beyonce, who just recently ended her profession relationship with her father Mathew Knowles has played 6 new tracks to her label bosses and they could not be happier. One has said "It was just amazing. These songs, the best description I can give them is groudbreaking. She's gone to another level." Once he removed his head from her arse that is. Her new album will be be released in June to coincide with her Glastonbury Festival performance. Handy ;) looking forward to it though!

4. Don't worry though, she's still, she's still Jenny from the Block. It's fine!

You've probably heard Jennifer Lopez's new track 'On The Floor' with Pitbull by now right? I mean where have you been if you haven't heard it. SHAME ON YOU, because it is a bloody good song and it's only gone and knocked Adele off the top spot in the UK Charts! FINALLY. Not that I don't love Adele and that song but come on, surely people still couldn't be buying it! Every household in Britain must have a copy. Seriously though, congratulations on your 3rd UK Number One Jennifer Lopez. It's well deserved and I cannot wait for your album to hit at the end of this month. I'm gonna be honest with you, I think, your back! Niice.

Oh also there was a Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards and people got slimed and people won crappy awards. Meh is the word I choose to use to describe that event.

ALSO look out for a post dedicated to our beloved Essex tomorrow where I'll be taking a look at tonight's scrumptious episode, after of course I've got back FROM GOING TO SEE KATY PERRY! Yes! Expect a post about that too! EXCITING TIMES PEOPLE!

In a bit.

2nd April 2011 Round-Up

So what happened today in the world of celebrity and TV and movies and music and stuff? Glad you asked because here's your daily round up ;)

1. Simon Cowell will appear on our X Factor?

Yeah, I'm sick of hearing about it too, but lets be honest, it's news worthy. There's been lots of talk over the past few months about who will be on the X Factor judging panel on both sides of the Atlantic. So it looks like Simon  WILL continue to judge our version as it was rumoured he wouldn't.

I AM GOD!
Let's be real here for a second. The UK X Factor would not be the same without our beloved Simon! He's partly the reason we watch it because he's brutally honest with the terrible singers which we all love! Imagine watching the show without his witty comments or his dislike of twins and Louis Walsh! Imagine. How boring would it be? While this is all just hear say, I really don't think Simon will leave us for America. If he can do both shows that would be great. Just nap on the jet yeah?

2. Essex/Blue drama!

I know you have all been watching the new series of TOWIE! And you've been loving it right? So we have a few new characters and one of them being Chloe Sims who just recently revealed she has a child! After i picked my jaw up of the floor, today it was revealed by Simon Webb's (from Blue) girlfriend that she found him in bed with Chloe Sims! DRAMA ALERT! Obviously she decided to sell her story to a newspaper and said she found them her on top of him in their bed and she was devastated. Both Simon Webb and Chloe from Essex deny the accusations from the girl that SOLD HER STORY TO THE NEWSPAPERS EXPOSING HER FAMOUS BOYFRIEND AS A CHEAT JUST BEFORE HE'S ABOUT THE REPRESENT HIS COUNTRY AT EUROVISION. Yeah.

3. Here! The Hangover Part II has a new trailer!

Let's have a deeks:

Amazing. Comes out 27th May 2011 which is actually quite soon so yay! Hands up if your excited?

4. Nicole Scherzinger has gone back to the studio.

Wait! Didn't you just release your debut album? Why are you going back in the studio to record new material when you have an album full of amazing song waiting to be released so I can dance to in the clubs? CLUB BANGER NATION? WET? SAY YES? KILLER LOVER? Anyone of those would do nicely while I'm out in Mushroom having a jug of Skittles with one straw! Just sayin'. If you haven't listened to her album yet, I highly recommend it! It's brilliant!

And that's it for today! In a bit!

Time to Return!

Hey guys,

I've been putting this off for ages now. I've always been meaning to return to the blog but things just got in the way and quite frankly I couldn't be bothered (story of my life, just ask anyone who knows me) but I realized I actually miss it! So it's the start of a new month and it's time to come back!

So yeah, expect some activity now.

Sameesh :)

Lady GaGa debuts 'Born This Way'

Hello! It really has been a while hasn't. Sorry about that! It's been a crazy few weeks with my birthday and many nights out and trips to London and so forth, but today, I felt I should return because GaGa has finally let us have a listen to the overly-hyped 'Born This Way'. Here it is:

Okay, so I completely forgot that this was even being released! I've been in London with college for a couple of days and I've been totally out of touch with the celebrity gossip world, so much so it almost killed me! I am obviously lying. But anyway, while sitting in one of the many, many, many London Starbucks, with my friend's Macbook, I saw a Facebook status about the song and I suddenly remembered that the song would hit people's ears finally! I immediately found it and listened with my friend in silence.

My initial reaction was meh. I'm sad to say I did not love it straight away like I thought I would. I remember hearing 'Bad Romance' for the very first time, and it's was just so amazing that you just wanted to constantly listen to it. Same when Britters released 'Hold It Against Me'. I literally had it on repeat for 3 hours!

So yes, I am not a lover yet, but please don't get me wrong. I am a huge GaGa fan and I do like the song, but unfortunately it was waaaay over-hyped. This song will not change music and it is not the future (because it sounds like something from the 80's). All those amazing things that people said about the track, it's really all bullshit. The only thing I could possibly agree with, is that it's going to be massive. It's Lady GaGa. There's no doubt that this song will go to Number 1 in many countries. It's already at the top of the iTunes chart in over 21 countries including this one.

I just feel a bit letdown. As a fan really. I mean, yes I like the song, but the way it was talked about, especially by Perez Hilton, it was just to over-hyped and did not live up to it. I went onto to my beloved DigitalSpy before and saw the main headline that read : "GaGa fans divided over new single" Understandable, and to be perfectly honest I'm glad I am not that only one that feels let down. If you look through the forums, there's lots of negative comments towards the song. While, I agree with some parts of what they say, I do like the song. It's not bad or terrible at all. It's catchy and dancey and makes me feel good when I listen to it, but it's not what I was expecting which is a shame really, but we still have the album to look forward to in May! Will it be as controversial as this track?

Also can anyone like hear Madonna's 'Express Yourself' when you listen to it. I didn't hear it during the first listen, but then a friend pointed it out and I heard it instantly, as have many other people. Hmm.

Enough about my opinions, I want to hear yours! Let me know what you think of the most talked about song at the moment, down below! :)

Bye!

The 2010-2011 TV Season - The Event ain't no FlashForward

JLO has a new song AND IT'S GOOD?

Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got, I'm still, I'm still Jenny from the block. Used to have a little, now I have a lot, No matter where I go, I know where I came from.

I have never been a huge fan of JLO/Jenny from The Block/Jennifer Lopez. I've liked a few of her songs but I wouldn't call my self a fan. Until now that is. Just listen to this brilliant song featuring Pitbull and produced by RedOne. Amazing.

I am a huge fan of big dance songs that you can put on before a night out while your getting ready, and then listen to in the clubs and dance the night way. And this is one of those songs. The beat gets you moving instantly and it's infectious. Love Love Love! Do you love?

Could not be more excited! April hurry up please. I have to see this move!! Are you excited?
